Hey Julia!!
Erik and I were in Cairo, Egypt a few years back. We befriended 2 guys from Seoul, Korea who had just graduated college there. Decided we would all go to a "Korean" restaurant in Cairo that we found on Internet search. Erik and I both had the bibimbop. It was AWESOME! The 2 Korean kids each ordered different entrees that were really KOREAN THERMAL! Their eyes watered, they coughed and seemed to struggle to catch their breath! The entire time the kept giving a thumbs up and smiling big time. The Korean waiter and chef were happy these patrons enjoyed their experience! At the beginning of our meals we were all going to share a bit of what we each had ordered. Glad I chickened out and just stuck to my bibimbop!!!
Will save your shared recipes and try them soon. Thanks for sharing and a belated Happy New Year!!!
