Love Black Cup. Reminds me of a Viennese cafe, but you still feel Perry's influence and spirit. I'm dating myself---but I remember back in 1975 or 76 when Perry was the cute bellman at the Hotel Captain Cook who delivered his great coffee to the Bread Factory (I was one of the many staff who loved coffee delivery days), the city's vegetarian hangout. Down the street two young guys, Jack Amon and Van Hale, were using the Jade Room kitchen to cook wonderful gourmet meals. We've come a long way...but thanks to those who started us along the path to a great city with some wonderful food and beverage options.
