Guess what just showed up in the mail today with the gas bill and the Christmas cards? My first seed catalog. I’m a novice gardener, and our new yard is scary, but I have big dreams. So there I was, as the sun went down just after 3, sitting by the Christmas tree, thinking about these (carrot porn!):

And these, which I discovered last summer. My favorite flower of the garden. (Should I grow them from seed?)

If you plant carrots use the seeds that come in strips. Easy too plant and less thinning. You can use old tires for zucchini , helps increase the temp.
