21 #SoAnchorage Holiday Delights: #14, the holy wall of chocolate

Don’t let all the holiday cheer on this website fool you. I have my days, too, when the dark gets to me and I’m perma-grouchy and there isn’t enough coffee or enough Christmas carols in the world to undo it. And that is when I know I must make a pilgrimage the my place of spiritual renewal, The Holy Wall of Chocolate at Summit Spice.

This right here is my poison:

Salty, yes. Chocolaty, yes. But with this bar, it’s the texture that causes me to eat like half of of it before I even make it out of the parking lot.  Luckily it isn’t cheap. So I only buy the small size. And now you know about it. Go buy some. Buy all of it. Save me from myself.

And, since I’m there, I usually pick up something for the children. This combo is really something.

And, by the time I’m back home, simmering it on the stove, I usually feel merry enough to turn the radio back to the Christmas station.

  • Just went and bought some of that chocolate for me and a couple of my friends. Now I’ve got a feeling somebody’s going to have to save me from myself…
