See Alaska: Bear TV in Juneau

There are a few benefits to having a baby who gets up before 6. One of them is that when you’re visiting Aunt Maridon in Juneau, you’re up early enough to see the black bears in the neighborhood getting into trouble. Two of them passed through the yard across the street. We had a front row seat.

First came the sow:

He ate apples off the tree for an hour and then took a bathroom break, which Leo thought was hysterical. And then he crossed the street and scampered into the neighbors’ yard.
